The childhood of Pickler was not a smooth one. When she was two the mother of her fled from an unfaithful relationship. Pickler had her mother back within her family by the year 1995. They took charge of Pickler. However, it wasn't as it was originally planned. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents whom she grew up with. Pickler was too busy raising her younger siblings in the absence of her parents. She admitted she didn't have time to read and began learning how to be a homemaker from a very young age.
