In August of 2020, Addison Rae was named by Forbes magazine as the highest-earning TikToker around the globe. She's one of the most followed on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become the most popular person on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. Her first appearance as an artist when she debuted her debut single Obsessed, in 2021. The single reached the top 4 spot at the top of New Zealand Hot Singles and the video was sixth on YouTube the day it released. Addison Rae was also nominated to win prestigious awards, including the People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as the Kids' Choice Awards.
