Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Sheedy earned the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than 20 years. In the early 80s, she started her career in film with the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her success in a film she starred on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is regarded as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Though the budget was only $1 million, its profits surpassed $50 million. In the meantime, she was also participating in various television shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other TV shows the actress appeared on. Her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring an X-Men superhero, in which she plays an appearance. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her work. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
